Pottins - Funeral Details Announcement:
The funeral
of our very dear comrade and friend, Charlie Pottins will take place at 1pm on
WEDNESDAY 21st OCTOBER, at Northwood Cemetery, Chestnut Avenue, Northwood, HA6
1DE.
Nearest tube: Northwood Hills (Metropolitan
Line)
Buses: 282, H11
Immediately
after the funeral there will be an informal celebration of Charlie's life, with
refreshments, at a private room in a pub in the area. Now that there is a time,
date and location for the funeral, this is being researched this and further
information will be given when this is a available.
It is very much hope that many of Charlie's
friends and comrades will be able to attend. Please pass this information on to
anyone you think will want to be informed.
Obviously,
many of you will not be able to make the funeral but will have known Charlie
from trades union council and union conferences, as well as in campaigns and on
picket lines – and of course his own and always interesting Blog. You may like
to send Brent Trades Councils your wishes and reminisces of Charlie as part of
the celebration of Charlie’s life.
