THE Spanish singer Julia de Castro and bassist Miguel Rodrigáñez will offer a second show after her outstanding performance at the Manchester Jazz Festival 

If you miss the great De La Purissima’s performance at Manchester Jazz Festival, you’ll have another chance on Sunday 24th July, at Manchester's Innside Meliá Hotel (1 First Street, M15 4RP, Manchester).

Spanish singer Julia de Castro and double bass player Miguel Rodrigáñez, A.K.A De La Puríssima, will perform a very intimate, a cappella show at this centric hotel's terrace. 

She is well known for her absolutely amusing live shows, in which she wittily blends jazz with cuplé. She adds her provocative charisma to the special mixture, in such a way that the audience won’t remain indifferent. 

Behind a powerful staging, she fiercely defends the innovation of cuplé, as well as the sexual liberation, which is still pretty much needed in Spain, “especially among women”, as she has claimed in a recent interview.

So, prepare for a different show, De La Puríssima is coming!
