The Pitchford Inquiry has the potential to be more serious and embarrassing to the state than is first imagined. First of all it will be interesting to learn just how much the state CONTROLED political organisations and not just monitored or spied on them. It is a simple matter to influence an organisation when you have an agent inside it. Perhaps it is time to reconsider the strange activities of political bodies which just failed to gain success at the last minute. Or which were badly hit by 'defections' of key members. And just how neutral are these "investigative reporters" employed by the media?
