Rochdale Labour Party: Danczuk's Reselection

LAST night we learned that our earlier posting 'Danczuk's D-Day' was in error, and that the actual re-selection of Simon Danczuk MP for Rochdale will be held as reported below:

 ROCHDALE CONSTITUENCY LABOUR PARTY

Notice to the members of the executive committee of the Rochdale Constituency labour party.

RESELECTION OF SIMON DANCZUK AS SITTING MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR THE ROCHDALE CONSTITUENCY:  

I would like to invite you to a special meeting of the executive committee of Rochdale CLP on Tuesday 14 October 2014 at Labour HQ Oldham Road Rochdale at 7.30pm.

The business of the meeeting is as follows  

1. Apologies for absence.

2. Declaration of the designated representative of the Regional Director who will act on behalf of the National Executive Committee in liaison with Rochdale CLP.

3. Declaration of the freeze date as 14 October 2014.

4. Declaration of the organisations entitled to make an affirmative declaration.

5. Timetable for the reselection.

6. Appointment of nominated member of the executive committee to oversee proceedings at each branch or forum meeting.

7. Any other business solely connected with the reselection if permitted by the designated representative.
