For Manchester the strike will run from 10am to 4pm in St Peter’s Square, with a march happening from 1–2pm. Come
pick up a placard from us at our stall close to Central Library in St
Peter’s Square. We'll be there from 10am to 4pm with climate
strike flyers and leaflets on Climate Action groups.
In the office we’ve been getting our placards ready and putting the final touches to our props. You can
find details on how to download a placard in my original email below.
Got a question? We can try our best to answer but if it’s urgent, you might be better off posting on the
Facebook
event page.
That’s it! Have a great strike tomorrow and remember to share your snaps on social media with
#ClimateStrike and
#TakeClimateAction.
Let’s make history,

WHERE TO MEET

LOOK THE PART
If you’re marching with a bunch of friends you might want to wear
matching t-shirts. Not only will this help you make a bigger visual
impact, but it could also help you spot each other in the crowd.
Why not head to our store, create your own design and get it printed on an ethically sourced tee?

MAKE A PLACARD
You don’t have to be an artist to make a powerful placard – it really is
the message that counts. And if you can’t think of a catchy slogan, you
can always download one of our designs.

SHOW SOLIDARITY
Of course, we understand that not everyone will be able to make it to a
strike. But that doesn’t mean you have to sit this one out. You can band
together with family and neighbours to take a solidarity photo, update
your social media profiles or even hold a
lunchtime discussion at your workplace.
