FOREIGN
owned shops and businesses, many of them Nigerian, have been
attacked in South Africa.
They
have been attributed to xenophobia, as have the
retaliatory attacks in Nigeria.
Now
South Africans probably know more about the real meaning of ‘racism’
that we do, but that was not the term they chose to use. Perhaps
there is a lesson here for the zealots in the UK who like to throw
the word around like so much confetti.
