Roger Waters
Eric Clapton, Nick Mason, Susan Sarandon, Julie Christie, Ken
Loach, and Tom Morello, have all signed a petition to reverse the ban on Roger
Waters performing a concert in Frankfurt, Germany, on 28 May as part of his
"This Is Not A Drill" tour.
David Gilmour and his wife Polly Samson, have denounced
Waters as "anti-Semitic" and "misogynistic." Gilmour and
his wife have accused Waters of being a "Putin apologist" and of
being a "lying, thieving,
hypocritical, tax avoiding, lip synching, misogynistic, sick with envy,
megalomaniac."
Roger Waters has been denounced as an anti-Semite because of
his criticism of the Israeli State and his sympathies towards the Palestinian
people.
