Danczuk's Deli Sold?

NORTHERN Voices recieved a report recently that Danczuk's Deli had been sold off on the cheap.  We've not had this confirmed, but Mr. Simon Danczuk has continued to write recently that 'I’m a firm believer that we need to re-establish Rochdale as a proud Pennine market town.'

He goes on in last Saturday's Rochdale Observer of how when he tweeted some old photos of the town of Rochdale:  'People were impressed at the sight of hordes of shoppers', and he asks:  'Can we recreate the same buzz in a different age where consumer habits have changed and technology disrupted the old high street model?'

Well, one would have thought he would cling onto the Deli if that is genuinely how he felt.
